Living in Los Angeles, we are lucky to have Day of the Dead festivities on November 2nd to help us come down from our Halloween high. We took Grammy and the kids downtown to Olvera Street today to soak up some of the fun. The alters were fun to see, but not as fun as all the awesome skeleton dancers.
Matilda was majorly in love with these huge skirts and thanks to her generous Grammy is now the proud owner of a giant turquoise and lace one.
3/5 of us sported our skull face shirts for the holiday!

After getting our fill at Olvera St. we skipped over to Little Tokyo to top off a great day with full bellies of noodles and sushi.
