It IS next to the Morgue

Tonight over dinner I was talking about my day at work and referenced the diet office. (The diet office is the place in the hospital where all the menus are tallied, food service orders taken and where I go to get my prioritized list of patients to see for the day.) As I went on to tell about the yummy sandwich one of the cooks made and brought us in the diet office, Matilda interrupted me to ask, "Why were there dead people?" It only took a moment to realize she was hearing "died" and not "diet." We've been having a lot of these kinds of moments lately and she's piecing together more and jumping to conclusions that aren't quite always correct, yet always entertaining!
