Santa finished in record time this year, with everything wrapped and laid out by 11pm. That is hours before the last two years. It would have been even sooner but we had to stop and settle Porter back to sleep after a big dramatic belly flop onto the hardwood floor from his cot. That boy is the most acrobatic sleep ever. I am so excited for tomorrow morning to see the kids discover their surprises. The past few days have been a blur of fun family time with big meals, cookie baking, sledding and memory making. Finally we had a wonderful white Christmas which we had hoped for with a lot of typical Christmas things and Christmas traditions including a lot of family time and contemplation. The favorites of the kids were of course the handing out of presents and the many, many snowball fights and sled races with the whole family. We enjoyed the Christmas time to the fullest.
