Tuesday we went to the Tar Pits, along with every other family in Los Angeles it seemed, for their monthly free admission day. Rather than battle the crowds inside too much we spent a good deal of time playing in the surrounding park & poking sticks into the tar bubbles that pop up in the lawn.
Matilda took the opportunity to climb her first tree, albeit a small one, but it's a start & it was in a dress!
Three Billy Goats Gruff has been in heavy rotation around here for story time so Matilda is very vigilant about checking all bridges lately for trolls before she will cross.
