Train trip!

While cruising up the California coast today on our super exciting train trip I could not get enough of the beautiful views. After reluctantly looking up from her book one too many times, Matilda said, "Mom, can you stop asking me to look at things and just leave me alone to read my book?" Coastal pacific beauty wasted on my bookworm;I love it. She did go on to say how I could show her 1 or 2 more things and she would look, but not too many.

As expected, Porter is beside himself with excitement and thoroughly enjoying the trip, as are Tim and I.
