Hawaii has so many kinds of beaches. This one was on the north side of Kauai where all the surfers go for huge waves. It was amazing to see and there was no way the kids or adults in this family were going anywhere near the water in that crazy surf. The kids stayed perfectly occupied with exploring, hauling driftwood, throwing sand, whacking coconuts, and the million other things they find to do at a beach.
